In 2 days from March 19 to 20, 2021, Saigon Water Supply Corporation (SAWACO) organized a seminar on “Application of smart water meter technology for the period of 2020-2025”. VUCICO attended and presented about automatic remote meter reading (AMR) technology at the seminar.
The seminar is organized to promote the trend of application of smart water meter technology – an important part in the construction of smart water supply systems that the city project has launched.
Research and promulgate technical specifications of smart meters and data management applications to facilitate the equipment and implementation of smart water meters, at the same time select a number of areas for test installation at the local unit scale, thus they can be put into installation soon for the city water supply network.
At this workshop, VUCICO introduced the AMR solution that was successfully put into use in the area of District 5, Ho Chi Minh City invested by Cho Lon Water Supply Joint Stock Company. VUCICO also introduces new technologies such as fixed network meter reading for smart water network.
